Arsenal on Wednesday night played out a disappointing 2-2 draw with PSG last night after Nigerian star Alex Iwobi got in the way of David Ospina and diverted the ball into the back of the net.
A win for Arsenal would have ensured Arsene Wenger's men top the group comfortably, but after Iwobi's own goal, PSG can now qualify as top leaders in the group with a win in their next game.
Iwobi, for the first time ever, didn't have a good game and upon being substituted, looked very sorrowful on the bench, but his teammates rallied around him and supported him.
“You’ve got to feel for him, but he wasn’t aware of what was behind him,” Arsenal midfielder Ramsey told reporters. “I feel for him but we’re in it together. “It was important not to lose and that’s what we managed not to do.”
